The Universal Pre-Primary Education initiative seeks to ensure that all Bahamian children can receive early education, which will prepare them for further education and training. This initiative is in collaboration with The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Pre-School and Day-Care Centre Council, and the Access Accelerator (A2). The government has allocated $1 million to the A2 to assist preschool entrepreneurs in facilitating early childhood development. Preschool entrepreneurs can apply for up to $25,000 to assist with training, infrastructure, and expanding educational programs.
